Shamshan Bhumi Shodh Sansthan was established in the year 2011, whose registration number is 07/33/01/09642/11. Though local body governments are paying attention on it but the developmental work for this type of places are improving gradually that too in ideal size of Towns and cities. So far as rural areas are concerned lot of work is required to be done. We have formed this organization to draw the attention of the government and the society towards this and for the restoration of the cremation grounds. Though there is a government scheme known as Government’s Shanti Dham scheme but this scheme has limitedprovisions of funds and rather we may say it is on papers only and cannot fulfil the requirement of Hindu Society. There are very rare societies who are tendering their services related to the last rites that too in the form of vehicle or cremation of unclaimed dead bodies. Because nominal amount is involved in such
services and also get help/reimbursement from the Government. But for construction of Cremation Ground rarely institution is doing this work as huge amount of funds is required for the same.
But it is our endeavour to ensure that the last rites may be completed at the same place for all parts of societies in the same system. In our rural areas of India, the villagers have to go for several kilo meters to perform last rite as per Hindu Mythology traditions. It also observed that in odd season rainy and winter season the dead bodies are not burnt due climatic reason and generate pollution/negative energy which is very unhealthy for human being. Though we formed our SANSTHAN in 2011 but due to paucity of funds we could not work over such projects. However, SANSTHAN made itself busy in feeding birds and animals. As you aware Ujjain is well known globally for Mahankal Jyotirlinga where devotees from all over the world come, though there are arrangement of providing meal to the pilgrims which continues during the day and the food system stops at night. Mahankal jyotirlinga is called the king of Ujjain. And there is a myth that no one sleeps hungry here, in order to keep this myth true our SANSTHAN is making arrangements food and water in late night to the pilgrims in the nearby area of Temple.
Now our SANSTHAN is entitled for getting charity under registered for undertaking CSR activities and the Registration number is CSR00041494 date of registration is 23.11.2022.Â
